This beautiful Talavera is handmade in Central Mexico and is quite different from the Talavera from Puebla.The clay is placed in molds to form their shapes. The artisans use very bright combinations of colors to express the beauty that lies in their imagination. They do not use patterns to paint the designs, they use their heart and great talents to create different designs that you are going to love in all these pieces shown in this page. Different forms of Talavera include plates, animals, sinks, flower planters, vases, urns and much more. These pieces are a great way to decorate a nice china cabinet, a kitchen, gardens, patios and can decorate most any place in your home.
